Authorize us to interact with the CRA on your behalf

Our team may need your authorization before certain procedures can be done.

Please note that this authorization can be revoked by you at at any time by phone and online.

Please make sure to grant access from the correct account number.

If you want to grant us access to your SIN number, you need to do so from your CRA My Account.

If you want to grant access to your Business Number and related accounts such as HST or payroll accounts, you need to do so from your CRA My Business Account.

If you have never filed a Tax Return before you will NOT be able to authorize us.

The CRA has updated the authorization process in July 2025.
Currently, we are working with these two authorization options:

Option 1 - Authorize us from inside your CRA My Account

You need to have access to your CRA My Account or be able to create your access to your CRA My Account in order to use this option.

Registration process: If you do not have access to your CRA Account, please follow these instructions:

The improved registration process now offer:
- Faster ways to register without the need for waiting the code in the mail.
- Multiple multi-factor authentication (MFA) options including an authenticator app and passcode grid.

After you sign in to your CRA account:

Click on "Profile".

Next, click on "Add"

In this step, enter our Business Number which is 751943473 and click "Search".

Our information will be presented. Confirm if it is correct, and click "Next".

Select "All accounts" and click "Next". (Businesses only)

Select "Level 2", "Does not expire" and click "Next".

A review and confirmation screen will be presented. Click on "Submit" to confirm.

After you have completed the procedure, please let us know.

Option 2 - Alternative process (for individuals only)

For this option, you need to provide us your Notice of Assessment (NOA) that was sent to you at least six months ago. Please upload the document in your Client Portal for additional safety and inform us.
After receiving your NOA, we will prepare an authorization to be signed by you.

The signed authorization is submitted by us to the CRA to be validated. Once the validation is complete, we will be able to access your account.
